1985: appointed Certified Specialist in Tax Law.
1986: appointed trustee in bankruptcy and appointed insolvency administrator to 14 Insolvency Courts.
1999: appointed Certified Specialist in Insolvency Law.

Studies in science of law in Münster and Freiburg.
First state examination in law in Hamm.
Legal internship at the Higher Regional Court of Karlsruhe, practical work with Radio Bremen.
